Both EMC and Apple are American companies. I doubt it Apple will tell VMware their wording of the SLA for say Germany is incorrect. Apple is still a big blackbox (they hardly communicate) and the license agreement is between Apple and the customer. VMware has nothing to do with that.
The biggest thing to know is about the 10.5 and 10.6 licenses and the fact that you can indeed virtualise 10.7 and 10.8 clients which is also technically enforced by VMware. Again, for exact details do ask a local attorney if you must know all the details or are not sure how the SLA applies in your country.
