Darisud, unfortunately that doesn't work.  If I go above 8192MB, I cannot click anything except Cancel unless I lower the number back to that maximum threshold.  VMWorkstation doesn't permit me to go any farther.  So, the "Save" button does not work whatsoever above 8192MB.  I just put it to 8196MB and it won't let me "Save" and close the settings dialogue.  I put it back to 8192MB, and I can save and close.  For fun, I tried putting it at 12GB.  It won't save.  I put it at 6GB.  It saved.

This has been an issue since I went to Linux as my host OS.  I haven't tried other flavors of Ubuntu or Linux.  I assumed it is having issue reading the newer kernel header files or whatever to determine that it is indeed 64-bit.

Logs are attached.  Please ignore vmware1.log being trailed with the 1.  I did that assuming the other log would have had the same name, but it was workstation!

My CPU is AMD FX-8150 and I have 16GB RAM.

Thanks for the responses so far!!!
