For the DCA you have to have a lab and practice again and again and again and then again three more times as the exam requires you to be very fast. Fortunately for you you seem to be US based so the lag the rest of the world gets during this exam shouldn't impact you. Chris Wahl's study guide where you tick off that you know how to do everything via different methods is really good and a great way of ensuring you know how to do everything on the blueprint.
The DCA is a great learning resource and will benefit you greatly in your day job (it has for me at least)
